Ziyad and Partners Establish Food Drive to Help Beirut Devastation
Ziyad is on the ground in Beirut, Helping the Community!
The city of Beirut has seen unpreceded damage and as America’s largest food distributor, we are helping by organizing a food distribution drive. We’re using our local partners and connections in Lebanon to coordinate donations from eight of the most popular food manufacturing companies including Al Rabih, Castania, Grapeful, Mechaalany, Gourmet Foods, Al Forno, Msallem, and Ziyad itself. The donations will be distributed by our trusted nonprofit partners.
Providing a Glimpse of Hope for a Better Future
Nemer Ziyad (CEO) says, “We want to boost their spirits and remind them why they are so important to us, providing special high-quality comfort food items we hope will energize their spirits.”
We know that Beirut is struggling and we want to help with what we know best- food and supply chain management. By utilizing Lebanese food companies, we are helping put those workers back to work and stimulating the local economy that was already in a state of crisis.
Maher Chebaro, a renowned food specialist, chef, and critical member of the Ziyad team is in Beirut supervising the support drive.
